Här har inrullad nagel skurit in i nagelfalsen och skapat en infektion. Friktion tillsammans med tryck från skor gör detta smärtsamt.

Här har jag gjort ett sedvanligt nageltrångsklipp med efterföljande tvätt med väteperoxid + vatten. För att avlasta nagelfalsen och lyfta nageln har jag valt att lägga tunna sorbactremsor bilateralt. Sorbact är en bakteriebindande kompress som jag tycker fungerar väldigt bra på just vätskande nageltrång som dessa.

Jag väljer sedan att droppa på lite asolsprit och lägga en gasvävskompress runt tån, och sedan en tubgas för att fixera förbandet och skydda den redan irriterade tån.

Här är viktigt att använda skor med utrymme och skydda tån 1-2 veckor beroende på hur infekterat det är.

Jag brukar säga att dag fyra efter behandlingen ska du ha slutat ”tänka på tån” och det ska ha vänt. Svullnad, rodnad, värme och sårsekret ska ha avstannat.

När tån inte längre är infekterad- smörj och massera in nagelolja i falsen. Det hjälper huden och minskar friktion från nageln och håller falsen mjuk.
